Contd from part 2

To close our eyes to the goodness and love of God and not to believe that God will give us the desires of our heart, if we believe in him. You only have to see the hate for God, the unbelief and rejection of God in the world today to know, the devil knew what he was doing when he told raggedy eve to eat that fruit and most of all not to believe anything God had said.

The lie did not stop there, the devil continued by saying you will be like God. I heard a preacher bring out the lie in this by going back to the Excellent Book, which is what we need to do for everything we hear or see, since our eyes are closed, yet opened and everything we see is not what it is. The fruit looked delightful to raggedy eve, she ate it, and here we are in a cost-of-living crisis when God never created or wanted that for us.

The preacher pointed to Genesis 1:26, where God said “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us…” Meaning when the devil said you will be like God, he was lying because they already looked like God. They had access to everything in his power sometimes even without having to ask. Did Adam ask God to name the animals? No. Did Adam ask to have dominion over the fish of the sea, birds, cattle, every creeping thing on earth. No. God just made it that way. He had everything and could get more.

There was nothing they lacked and nothing they were going to lack. The devil lied to make things what they were not, that somehow, they lacked. That what they had was not enough and most of all to get it, it was necessary not to listen to Gods’ warning. Notice he didn’t say disobey God. He knew they were smart for that. He had to paint a picture of what they would get, the benefit to them, and make it look like they had so many things lacking. With only FOUR lies, raggedy eve was deceived and convinced she had things missing yet she had EVERYTHING!

Define everything. The world and God who could easily give more than the world!

Then the next killer was the devil deceiving raggedy eve that by eating the fruit, she would know good and evil, meaning it was a good thing to know good and evil. It’s just hit me now, what the devil was doing with that was he wanted to be known! He didn’t want God alone to be known.

In knowing the devil, humans would further hide from the presence of God, which is the root to his mission to steal, kill and destroy. Why I also say this was a killer as a preacher said, to know good you must know evil. How else will you determine what is good? And if we not only know what is good and evil, we will do good and we will also do evil. This is one of the major reasons we suffer yet the devil doesn’t get blamed, God gets blamed and people stop believing in him, which is exactly what the devil wants.

God gave everyone free will so we can make choices for ourselves including whether we believe in God or not. Who made the choice to eat the fruit? Raggedy eve who then gave her husband, who was none the wiser. Not God. When things go wrong, I really believe its important to keep that in mind. People chose to do evil and out of the Love God has for us, he has to respect our will even if its not the right one. He also knows that in the end he will win and there will be no rest for the wicked. Another important Truth we need to keep in mind. Nothing goes past God.

Love doesn’t force. If it forces, manipulates or coerces, it’s not love. What would have happened if raggedy adam and eve used their free will in a way that would bring love, joy, prosperity, wisdom, enlightenment to their descendants? I don’t know how it would be for you, but this is how it would be for me.

Right now I am on my laptop, writing all this wearing my glasses, in a fleece onesie, with socks on my feet and I'm not the type to wear socks in the house, a Maasai blanket, and a thick duvet covering me because I am cold! I also have the heater right beside me and my flask of hot water on the other side. Just from this alone if raggedy adam and eve made the correct choice; I would be sitting somewhere telling stories not writing the story down.

I would not be wearing glasses because my vision would be beyond 2020, I wouldn’t be having astigmatism or presbyopia which sometimes I can't even pronounce and have to say Presbyterian first to get my brain to remember. Speaking of remembering I would not have any issues with my memory or pronunciation or anything complex. The door way effect that many of us have would definitely not be in existence.

As for the fleece onesie I could probably cuddle up to a bear or a panda or have some sheep around me with organic wool then I'll be warm, that is if there would be winter. I would have no issues with the animals because like my fellow human beings I would have dominion over the animals. Something that started with multiple Great grandpa Adam and multiple Great grandma Eve. I also have the sitting room lights on at 4:35 PM because it's dark!

In the uncorrupted garden of Eden I would not need any artificial light. I could get the fireflies to just come and hang out, I could ask God to let the moon shine very brightly or knowing God he would just make it shine brightly without me asking just like he did for Adam when he was given the task of naming the animals. Or better yet the light that God commanded on the first day that is not the sun, because the sun was made on the 4th day, would be shining bright the whole time.

I'm starting to feel hungry but have realised I'll have to cook. The things I have to cook had to be bought from the supermarket. I will not call out its name because I'm not about to do any advertising for them. In the uncorrupted garden I would have every fruit, every vegetable, every quality carb, at my disposal. I would not have to get my calculator out to work out if this supermarket deal is allegedly a deal or not as I sometimes do. Most of all, it would be free with no effort at all from me, because of what God did on day three. :) And yes, I would be a natural poet, dropping bars at the speed of light!

To cook I'm going to have to turn on the hob which uses gas and for my potatoes I'll have to use the oven so they can cook. Convenient yes but the electric company will remind me that it's a convenience at a cost especially in these times. In the uncorrupted garden of Eden, I'm not even sure what would happen but it would be very easy. Food will be ready to eat from the tree straight to their mouth. There would definitely not be any pests that could create any hygiene or health issues. Food poisoning would not be a thing.

It doesn't stop there... TBC
