Why it has to be your knee that gets hit on the table

miss_tpa

What happened: I hit my knee on the table.

I was rubbing it vigorously because it was so painful and I thought "aki Jesus si you help me and why am I getting hurt, si you just make it that I don’t hit my knee in the first place".

Sometimes we think hurtful, painful things shouldn't happen to us but you will knock your knee on the table, it will be painful, because while you are here on this earth, such things will happen to you. Its sad and unfortunate.

Its unrealistic to think nothing bad will ever happen to you. Nothing bad will happen to you wen you get to heaven on that glorious day when Jesus comes and takes us home. In heaven everything will be perfect. Here on earth, bad and painful things WILL happen. Its very hard to get the mind to understand this. May be we don't even want to get our minds to think this way because like I said in my prayer above, I was asking for there to be a way to avoid being hurt in the first place. I think this is very human.

It doesn’t mean Jesus is just looking at you, laughing and enjoying himself as you suffer. That is a lie the devil wants you to think and before you know it what you think becomes wat you believe. Don’t believe the devils' lies. Why don’t we ever remember how Jesus died for us and what that MEANS. We are so quick to dismiss his love and care and say "God doesn’t love me", "God doesn’t care for me" or....."God doesn't exist".

Why? Because something bad happened to you? And the devil, why are you not blaming him for the evil on this earth? Why does he never get the blame. In fact he is the one who started all this mess and evil and got kicked out of heaven! Instead you will hear "How can God allow this?".

The latter question is actually a fair question that no human has the answer to. In our pain and suffering we want to know why, we want to make sense of something that just doesn't make sense. The closest answer we have is "God's ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts". What does this mean?It means we will need to have this discussion with God. He knows. On top of that we just don't have the wisdom to see and understand things as He does, so we will just not understand why some things happen. This is why we are encouraged to Lean not on our own understanding and Trust him with all our hearts.

Should we live in fear? God says No, "Fear not, For I am with you....I will help you, I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with my Victorious right hand". Like Daudi said indeed We will still see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, so "be not dismayed", "God will take care of you".

Despite the pains and hurts of this world, God loves and cares for us. However we may feel, as I heard my friends aunt, in her daughters funeral, speak the truth and nothing but the truth "God is NOT malicious" and "God is not a sadist" that he wants to see you suffer. He Loves you. If he allegedly was malicious, why would he send his only son, whom he LOVES to come and suffer in this raggedy evil world, so that one day we can get out of it, leave the former things-death, hurt, pain, sorrow and enjoy eternal life? God is not malicious.

God is love. Its just in him to love you and care for you and do phenomenal things for you far more than you can ask think or imagine. The fact that things don’t go your way does NOT take away the fact that God loves you to the point he sent his son who loves you, and was willing to die for you, so that if you believe in him, one day, not on this earth, you really can expect a perfect life.

Jesus hurts wen you hurt and this is why with his love for you, he came down at entry level, lived this life where he was rejected, disrespected, tortured so he can take you from the biggest hurt of your life that would have been, that is death, not just this death we know but DEATH. He wanted to make sure you see and enjoy eternal life, where God will wipe away every tear because he loves you like that. The fact that you will go through painful, hurtful things doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you. It means you live in a sinful earth where bad, evil things happen. Jesus has made sure that though you may suffer now, a 0.0000000% version of the kind of suffering he suffered here, one day, all the suffering will end, guaranteed in his name!

The beautiful part is his love for you will never end and he will be with you always and forever with no end. Aaaaamen.
